Oh yeah thats not directed to anyone viewing this from the MSN blog itself. It's for those reading this from facebook. The RRS feed does work except it just doesn't bother to provide any spaces between paragraphs when it's finally fed into Facebook. It comes out as one large blob which is hard to read hard to read. Annoying!
To add further to the annoyances of facebook is my apparent inability to tag photos of myself on Facebook. I had pictures taken of me during the Pillowfight event on Saturday but none that I took myself since I didn't take my camera with me. I wasn't about to plow into battle with a fragile little camera thats already been broken once.
The fight itself was practically a mosh pit. People for some reason squeezed really tightly together and tried thier best to hit each other with thier arms raised over thier heads. I came with two purple flower pillows that I had picked up at liquidation world in back in Surrey. I had the idea of tying ropes to them spinning them around but given the tight space it was just as well i didn't. I simply held both of them and squeezed peoples head in between them.
I think many people came expecting to swing thier pillows a bit more. Indeed a few did with one person hitting me in the back of the had hard enough to stun me a bit much like a paticular martial art attack that struck from behind in the same way. Half way though I choked on a feather that came from one of the broken pillows. Hence the reason why I don't like people using feather pillows but also a good reason to consider wearing something over my mouth. There was actually one woman who wore one of the masks nurses wear but also people wearing Bandanas over thier mouths that made them look like cowboy bank robbers.
In the end the battle was won lots of innocent people got smacked. Feather covered the entire back area of the Vancouver Art Gallery. Some people assisted in trying to clean up all the feathers but most of the feather still remained on the sidewalk. One lady I overheard talking made a standing complaint that the people who brought feather pillows should of been the ones to help clean up the feathers. I have to agree, in fact I might consider bringing my own broom along to help with the clean up. I'm not exactly sure how enviromently sound it is to leave feathers lying around like that.
The event lasted only 15 minutes with left me with the rest of the day to myself. Not far way from where the pillow fight had occured was there people playing with hula-hoops, juggleing as well as general spinning stuff around. There seems to be a group of people that go to this one paticular area in the back of the Vancouver Art Gallery to practice these arts. They even allowed for the general public to particpate and use thier equipment. I've been with these people once before last month for the Vancover Feeze. I even have video footage of me playing with a hulahoop that I haven't yet put to blog.
I played with the hulahoop for a few hours and managed to keep it up on my wasit for an extended period of time. I even used it more or less like a jumprope and did some jumps with it for some extra fitness. Even now I feel a bit of soreness in my legs as well as my belly from all the muscles I used from jumping and hooping. It's actually a pretty good workout that'll tire you out quite quickly.
I'm tempted to go to these gatherings every week. I couldn't help but notice alot of younger people going to it. I even noticed some ladies my age doing hulahoops. I was a bit too nervous to talk to them but I suppose I could make a bit more effort into it next time. If not then I can just sit back and amire the view as I get a workout for the hips.
After all the exercise I went down to Metrotown and saw the move "Horton hears a who". Good movie I thought althogh I never read the book. Most Dr Seuss I ever read was cat in the hat and Green Eggs with Ham. Of course I also saw The Grinch in cartoon form on TV many Christmases ago. Actually I do recall at least looking at the Book for Horton hears a who at least once but never read to enough of it to see it through to the end. I guess the movie probably follows the story pretty closely apart from the extra dialouge and characters thrown in. Despite being 3D I think that all the characters did indeed have a very Seuss look to them. The main villian got changed from being male to female due the fact that only female kangaroos have pouches with babies in them.
And that pretty much sums up the weekend.

Oh.. and I'm also at 100 videos. I already mentioned in my last video about making special plans for it. I'm not sure yet what I'll do.
So I think thats about it. I should make it a point to do more text blogs to help add more description to things I've seen and done. It's just tought to determine a balace between which contents to decribe in txt blog and which one to decribe in video.

Good thing too so I can accompany my youtube vids with these blogs. I wasn't able to do that before and it was a real irritation.
So anyways... this video is about 2 days late being done. I started it with a bit of a clip last saturday with all the snow and ended it wednesday. So it took a full week to get everything put together. I was going to do it sooner but I had dance classes Thursday and I went to the theatre yesterday to see Hitman.

You can see that I am indeed among the 13 comfirmed guests. I'd be suprised if we really get 13 people since some some people say they will show up but end up not showing up at all. Others will likely show up late. I usually try to make it a point to show up to things on time. It's being held down at Metrotown so it's fairly accessible to me since I live a short walk from the skytrain station and Metrotown has it's own station.
I will of course be wearing my Trigun Cathat in spirit of the event. I was hoping a friend would tag along with me for it but she didn't respond to the message I left her on her front page. She's an anime fan as well so I thought she might like to come out. I guess she wasn't that interested.
I'm trying out this new "Youtube uploader" thing that I just found right now. It allows for multiple video uploads with each file being limited to 1 gig in size. When uploading normally you can only upload a filesize maximum of 100 megs. I hope that one gig thing is indeed true as it means i can upload files at thier maximum quality whereas before I had to reduce the quality a bit just to keep it at 100 megs. Seems moving away from the upload page didn't cancel the upload as typically if you move away on the normal upload page it cancels. Nice!!
In other news..
I'll be filling in as an "extra man" for my dance classes. Often there is an imbalance of men to women in the classes so sometimes they'll call favors upon thier students to try and balance the gender ratio. There is one advanced student in the school that they do this when there aren't enough ladies in class. In this case there aren't a enough men for the ladies so I get to dance an extra class at no charge. The beginners classes have.. as of late.. have been overflooded with new students with as many as 30 students in a single class trying to squeeze into a small gym.
Thats about it for now. I Gotta get prepared for tonight. Should be fun tossing back the sushi. I shall post another video soon. Maybe tomorrow.

I went there mostly to check out the Bodyworld 3 exhibit was unfortunetly not allowed to take any pictures or videos. It featured the bodies of real people who for one reason or another had died and agreed to have thier bodies plastised and made into statues. Hence everything you see in this exhibit once belonged to a real person. It both scientific and artistic as you saw skeletons, people hold thier organs over thier heads, bodies split in half and cross-sectioned, a guy praying with his heart inbetween his hands and someone doing an impossible stunt on a skateboard. It's a controversial exhibit that sometimes doesn't get displayed in some town due to some religious groups disagreement towards it. Vancouver isn't a relgious town to not many people minded the exhibit too much. I didn't mind it myself apart from one of the bodies smelling really bad.
Of the video footage i got was stuff that is always in science world year round. None of the staff seemed to mind my camera. Losta neat stuff to see.

In other news:
Halloween is coming up next week and i am offically going to go to Fright night. I prepurchased a ticket( as seen on my thankgiving weekend vlog) and plan to go down on the 31's next week. I invited Anime girl to join me and she said she would "if she is down there". So either I'll be with her or myself. Either way it should be fun.
I was hoping to also rent an X-box 360 to play "Dead Rising" but alas.. I need 500 dollars credit on my credit card that can be used as a deposit. I unfortunelty maxed my Visa card recently thus don't have enough credit to be able to afford the deposit. I was hoping to rent the system and game and play it on my parents HD-TV. No such luck i'm afraid.
Nothing else to say except that i'm looking forward to next week. I might be inclined to vlog this weekend and possibly do a video of the Fight Fest if i'm allowed to bring in a camera.

I offically hit the 20 video mark about 2 days ago. This after missing a month of blogging due to a broken camera. The camera is fixed now tho so I've just continued to Vlog.
Although I have said plenty in the vlogs themselves there has certianly been alot that I should be writing. All my most personal stuff has indeed been put here.
So lets get a quick lowdown in no paticular order:
-Turned 31 last month. You can see the birthday party we had in the vlogs along with the new computer table that i got.
- I added "Anime girl" to my MSN messanger and have been talking to her on it four about 2 months. Haven't seen her that much as of recently and have been trying to invite her out. She's usually too busy thus has been stuck on MSN.
- "Anime girl" has been kicked out of the Dojo for reason unknown. Something possibly to do with the groom who didn't invite her to his wedding. I guess all that bad blood may have finally done her in.
- Sansei has raise student fees by about 20 dollars. Slightly annoying
- Had two cellphones malfunction before getting a different model cellphone. Seems this new cellphone is fine apart from lacking some preferred features.
- bought a Bluetooth adapter for my cellphone. Would work great if my damn cellphone supported file tranfers. Spent 60 dollars on it just to get features I don't need.
As for things coming up..
Thanksgiving in a few days. Eatin turkey.
I might go check out an exhibit at science world featureing Dead bodies that have been covered in plastic. Thier skin has been peeled off so you can see all the muscles underneath. Thier creepy eyes presumeably stare at you as you pass by. I'm not sure what to expect but it should add a extra chill in time for halloween.
Speaking of halloween.. Doesn't appear that I'll really be dressing up this year nor partying. I do however think i might go to the "Fright night" happening down at the PNE. Apparenltly they will have several haunted houses set up. Should be fun.
Anyways.. I'll try and keep this up to date alongside my videos.

Not doing too badly with the vlog so far. I got my 6th subscriber yesterday so it seems at least a few people are paying attention although not necessarily commenting. Still not too many views for my videos yet but I suppose I'm doing average of most people on you-tube.
And yeah I'm still not too happy about the broken Bruce Lee Statue. I think I know where my parents got it from so i'm just hoping they have another one like him at that paticular store and hope he's cheap. Maybe even get him in a new pose.
So tomorrow is my last day of work prior to my vacations starting. On Saturday I'll not only have the Grouse Grind but the Anime convention to go to. I'm going to attempt to burn out my batteries on my cam to make sure I have plenty of extra power to take alot of pictures. I took about 70 pics at the prior convention and I hope to take more.
And of course I plan to go to the PNE next week. Probably won't go on the rides that much but should have fun wandering around a bit. I got myself a little bit extra spending money for myself this time so maybe I'll try and buy some cool stuff while I'm there. Admission is typically pretty cheap.
And of course the saturday after next is the wedding. Should be fun.
I think I might be repeating myself here. It's all stuff I've been waiting on for a while now so I'll finally be getting around to it.
In other news:
I think I might of nearly gotton myself into trouble at work a few days ago. A certian co-worker who has been a problem for me in the past was making comments about me being "sleepy" at work. She mentioned a few days prior how she was going twice my speed a few days prior as well. I got slightly pissed off because she's not my boss and yet was making remarks about my production. Hence I decided to go full out and critisize her work abilites in a loud booming tone. She got pissed off and I think might of tried to complain. Apparently it didn't go through as she hoped and I seem to be doing ok. She herself has a history of causing problems for employees so I guess when an employee causes her a problem it become a matter of crying wolf. Needless to say It's probably not a good idea to push my luck any further then I have. I do however hope this is incentive for her just to mind her own business when it comes to my work.
I am still playing EVE online even after the threat of quitting. We did afterall manage to mostly avoid the 2 wars we where in so I guess I'm satisfied at least with that. Furthermore I made good progress with my Drone Interfacing skill as I have 10 days left on the 23 day skill. Should be a fun skill to have to which I'll have bragging rights to.

The wedding as it turns out isn't this weekend.. or so it is assumed. My Dad seemed to think it was this weekend and I called sansei and he said it was the 26th. Strange cause was certian it was this weekend. I'm not sure either way cause I forgot the wedding invintation at the Dojo so I have nothing but word of mouth to go on. I for one would hate to go up there and not have the wedding to go to.
I did talk to the groom yesterday and made it clear I was coming. Despite the date confusion i don't think it should be a problem to attend. In fact I'll be on vacation during the time so i'll have lots of free time to plan for it. I already got the gifts.
From what the groom said there was only going to be 4 students besides myself that are planning to attend so far. I don't know which ones those are although bollygal did confirm.
In an interesting bit of news it turns out "anime gal" isn't invited for apparenlty delibrate purposes. She mentioned that she was in a love/hate relationship with the groom and thus has been excluded for reasons that I said I didn't want to hear about. I think she might of been hoping that I would invite her as a "friend" to the wedding but I chose against it cause it wasn't fair the the groom for me to do that if he really didn't want her there. She made her bed so she's going to sleep in it.
Anyways..
Seems my Corp in EVE online is offically deteriorated as well. Our leaders felt they couldn't maintian the corp with all the wars being declared on it so we opted to join a pirate corp full of people who are trained to handle wars. This will hopefully free us of the burnden of having to fight wars with very few people. It also frees us for the 2 wars our former corp was in. So I guess I can go back to mining and making money. I also might consider going into a paticular 0.0 space which is controlled by our fellow pirate members. I'd be tempted to mine there for expensive minerals but I might get attacked by NPC rats in battleships. Scaree.
I might Vlog a bit more tomorrow. Hope for a brighter day. August 05 2 warsWell i think i've just about had my fill of wars on EVE online. Seems we are war with another corporation that apparenlty received a rumor that we had been dissing them. This rumor coming from the enemy we are currently war with. Touche on that strategy I suppose. It's now up to our leaders to use diplomacy to try and get them off our case. I wish them luck.
I'm training a skill that will take 24 days to accomplish. If they can't get thier shit together in 24 days It's likely I'll be quitting the corp and possibly the game. I can't really make any money during wars as i can't afford to have my pod destoryed and then pay a million dollars just to replace it. I also don't have a brutix that i personally own and don't want to spend any money so I can replace it.
I'm just tired of people making these kinds of stupid decisions on my behalf. Furthermore it seems some of the egos of our leaders are getting a bit out of control. They seem to think they know what the hell they're doing yet have no idea at all.
But they have about 24 days to redeem themselves. Even then I wonder how long we can avoid being in war. All it takes one person to light the fuse and put the entire corp in danger.
In other news
It turns out the wedding of our highest ranking student in my martial arts class in actually having his wedding next week. I thought it would be closer to the end of the month but apparenlty not. I'm looking forward to it.
I'm going to see two movies this weekend: A Scanner Darkly, and My super Ex girlfriend. Both should be good.
